We want to say Mahalo to the ‘ohana of our cute keiki cover model for September!

Kaileia Sol Oyola is our sweet cover model, and she just started kindergarten last month. She loves books and numbers, and also loves to dance and sing.

Her mom is Janae Lopez, concierge with Expedia Local Expert, and dad is Carlos Oyola, server at Morimoto at Andaz Maui in Wailea.

Mom shares, “There is nothing more powerful as a mother’s love, and nothing as healing as a child’s soul. All that I do is for my daughter; I am so blessed to be her mommy. She makes me a better person.”

maui brewing co. restaurant in kihei: ‘stop for a pint, stay for a bite’

Here in the Islands, the name Maui Brewing Co. is virtually synonymous with craft beer. Established in 2005, MBC has taken the state, and the country by storm, and is one of the fastest-growing, privately-owned companies on Maui. MBC’s most recent big project was the opening of their second full-service restaurant this past February at its Kihei brewery location on Lipoa Parkway.

In an announcement ahead of the February 4 (Super Bowl Sunday) opening, MBC Founder and CEO Garret Marrero said, “We’re excited to open the restaurant at Maui Brewing Co. Kihei, as it has been part of the vision for our brewing headquarters for a long time to integrate craft beer focused food into the production space. With a direct view of the brewhouse and distillery from the restaurant, our guests will feel immersed in the craft brewing culture. We’re extremely proud of our team, as they have been working tirelessly to deliver a great experience.” Continue reading ‘maui brewing co. restaurant in kihei: ‘stop for a pint, stay for a bite’’
