mill-house-ct_chefs_gridThe Mill House presents the first annual Maui Chefs Invitational, a week long, multi-part culinary event. The Mill House and Executive Chef Jeff Scheer will be hosting seven highly-acclaimed chefs from culinary capitols around the U.S. The chefs will arrive on November 7 and spend several days of private time exploring Maui’s farmland and collaborating in the kitchen. The week will culminate in a series of three events on November 11-13.

Seven Chefs have been nominated and invited to showcase their artistry and point-of-view. This is a collaboration in the spirit of creativity and camaraderie. These chefs are involved in some of the most successful and cutting edge restaurants, which aim to provide a purposeful, all encompassing dining experience.

Friday, November 11 • Chefs Table & Saturday, November 12 • Chefs Table
Multi-Course Menu from 5 – 9pm

Guests can explore modern tastes and textures prepared by highly-acclaimed Chefs from across the country. The open-air kitchen sets the stage for an interactive dinner. Friday and Saturday will showcase differing menu items and ingredients. Ingredients are often selected in the days and hours leading up to the event. Menus will not be published beforehand. Seating is communal, bringing together enthusiasts of food and drink to interact and share stories.

Tickets for this event are $200 per person, inclusive of tax and gratuity. This price does not include beverages. There will be a cocktail hour from 5 – 6pm; dinner will begin at 6pm.

Sunday, November 13 • Chefs Barbecue Celebration with food, drink, music from 1–6pm. Held on the lawn of the Maui Tropical Plantation. Guests will graze on dishes created through the collaborative efforts of the participating Chefs. Maui Brewing Co. will be pouring cold beer while Hali‘imaile Distilling will be crafting cocktails from fresh Maui ingredients and Maui distilled spirits. Enjoy an abundance of food, have a beer with the chefs, and experience a day of fun. Tickets for this event are $65 per person, inclusive of food, tax and gratuity. This price does not include beverages. The event will take place from 1 – 6pm.
