ka‘anapali beach resort presents the 11th annual wa‘a kiekahi June 5, 6 & 7, 2015

The Hawaiian Sailing Canoe Association comes to Ka‘anapali to share their mission “to learn, revive, educate and practice those ancient Hawaiian skills and values as they relate to sailing canoes and the Hawaiian culture.”

Traditional Hawaiian welcome ceremony, on the beach fronting the Aston at The Whaler on Kaanapali Beach.

Saturday, June 6, 2015, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Complimentary Hawaiian sailing canoe rides. Sign up at the information booth, on the beach fronting the Aston at The Whaler on Kaanapali Beach. Meet the crew members and learn more about Hawaiian canoe sailing and its culture.

Traditional Hawaiian farewell ceremony. Hawaiian Sailing Canoe Association teams race from Kä‘anapali to Moloka‘i.
