A portion of the proceeds from the weekend events to benefit Lahaina Complex After School Tutor Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to provide free math, reading and history tutoring to local 3rd-8th grade students.


From October 28–31 Passman Galleries on Maui are celebrating over 35 years of style and design by welcoming renowned creative director, Omar Torres, to Maui.

Mr. Torres joined Passman three years ago to carry on the legacy of Bernard Passman, molding the design studio into an entity reflective of the world-class brand Passman was born to be. Mr. Torres’ designs embody story telling, a refined aesthetic and unequivocal style. In recent years, he has infused color and movement into collections accentuating whimsy and showpiece splendor.

Mr. Torres is recognized worldwide for the shape and creative direction provided to companies including Bulgari, Van Cleef & Arpels, Movado and Garrard. Guests are welcome to meet Mr. Torres and hear about the newest iconic collections SkyScape, Seven Hills, Hope Floats and more. Passman would like to invite concierge to join them for these events.

“Passport Wine Dinner Series” First Friday of every Month!

100 Wines has started a “Passport Wine Dinner Series” where guests can visit 15 “stops” around the world by attending the series and enjoying a Chef’s three course dinner paired with four wines from the featured country.

Passport Wine Dinners are planned for the first Friday of every month with Chef Lyndon preparing a three-course dinner with wine pairings plus a sparkling amuse bouche for each stop. The first featured stop was Barcelona, Spain on Friday, September 7. Guests earn ‘stamps’ on their passport for each stop. After five stamps – guests will receive a $20 gift certificate. Upcoming stops on this “Around the World” Tour include:

October 5 – Italy, November 2 – New Zealand & Australia, December 7 – France, January 4 – South America, February 1 – United States

Pineapple Grill CELEBRATES Oktoberfest

Get ready to celebrate Oktoberfest Pineapple Grill style at their 1st annual Oktoberfest celebration on October 14, 2012 beginning at 3pm in conjunction with kick-off for Green Bay Packers vs. Houston Texans.

This celebration of all things “German” is $25 per person for a festive all-you-can-eat German inspired buffet. Chef Isaac Bancaco and his team have created a cornucopia of gastronomic creations sure to wow the crowd. Maui Brewing Company’s Beer Garden will feature their specialty Oktoberfest Beer Hana Hou Helles Bock served by our very own “St. Molly Girl.” Beer and other beverages are not included in the price.

Traditionally celebrated from the end of September through early October, Oktoberfest is known as the Largest “Volksfest” or People’s Fair in the world.  It’s a time of celebration, great food and great beverages for communities throughout the world.
